Mission

The Friends of the Bowl Foundation is a charitable not for profit corporation whose mission is to improve facilities and amenities within the Gordie Howe Sports Complex for the benefit of the residents of the Greater Saskatoon Area.

About Us

The Friends of the Bowl Foundation is a partnership between a group of dedicated volunteers and the City of Saskatoon. The partnership was formed in 2011 to help the city make needed improvements to facilities in the park now known as the Gordie Howe Sports Complex. The Foundation Board is comprised of members representing user groups of facilities in the park, as well as the City of Saskatoon and others who bring additional expertise to help the board conduct its affairs. The mandate of the Foundation is to identify facilities in the park in need of improvements, and to plan, fundraise and project manage these improvements on behalf of the city.
